Dustin Demeter hit his second home run of the season.
"That was a good bounce back game," Rainbow Warriors head coach
Mike Trapasso said. "Very good in all phases. I think we saw the type of team we can be when we're on point offensively."
The Rainbow Warriors opened the scoring in the first inning when Demeter mashed a tater over the right field wall for his second home run of the season.
The Bison took the lead in the top of the third inning via small ball. A leaf-off single, a sacrifice bunt, a single and a sacrifice fly put two runs on the board for the visitors.
Hawai'i tied the game in the bottom half of the frame when Scott singled for the second time in the game and then stole second base. A groundout by redshirt junior first baseman
Alex Baeza scored Scott from third.
The Bows posted a crooked number in the fourth inning by scoring four runs in the inning.

Stone Miyao.
Miyao walked to bring up Scott who walked to push Hancock across the plate. A walk to Demeter loaded the bases again and Baeza singled up the middle to plate Murray and Miyao.
Hawai'i tacked on a seventh run in the bottom of the seventh via a pair of walks a hit by pitch and a wild pitch scored the run.
In the eighth inning the Bows added three more runs. Miyao walked to open the inning, Scott added a third hit via a bunt past the pitcher and junior shortstop
Kole Kaler cleared the bases with a triple into the right field corner. Demeter picked up another RBI via another sacrifice fly.
Hawai'i's starting pitcher, sophomore
Aaron Davenport struck out eight batters in 6.0 innings of work. The sophomore did not walk a batter for the second straight start and allowed just two runs. Davenport has struck out more than seven batters five times in his career.
Sophomore right-handed pitcher
Cade Halemanu came in to relieve Davenport and struck out a pair in the seventh inning.
Redshirt junior right-handed pitcher
Carter Loewen pitched the final three outs striking out the first batter he faced and then induced two ground outs to end the game.
Both teams are back at Les Murakami Stadium for a 1:05 p.m. first pitch on Sunday.
