HONOLULU – University of Hawai'i Athletics and 'Ahahui Koa Ānuenue are inviting fans to
"Pledge-per-Three" this year for the 2020-21 men's and women's basketball seasons. Although it is currently not possible to attend games, this program provides an alternate way to cheer on the 'Bows while also supporting UH Athletics.
Last year's men's and women's programs combined for 448 total three-pointers – 215 for the men and a school-record 233 for the women. The teams will look to exceed last year's pace with an exciting up-and-down brand of basketball under the direction of head coaches
Eran Ganot and
Laura Beeman.
This year's schedule includes an expanded Big West slate. The men will have 20 conference games and the women will have 18 games. The teams will be in action every weekend, barring any postponements or cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Here's how it works:
- Select an amount to pledge per three-point field goal made by both the men's and women's basketball teams throughout the 2020-21 season.
- Watch the Rainbow Wahine and Rainbow Warriors and cheer them to victory knowing you are positively supporting all 21 sports and more than 500 student-athletes.
- Final pledge commitment will be automatically processed within three (3) business days of the conclusion of the seasons to the provided credit card.

Pledges are 100% tax deductible gifts to H-Club and not eligible to earn member benefits. A receipt noting your final contribution amount will be provided for your files.
'Bows Together is the Athletics Department theme for the year, which includes fundraising activities and a focus on service and social justice awareness in the community. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Hawai'i Athletics faces budgetary challenges related to student-athlete education (scholarships, cost of attendance, 5th years scholarship), competitive athletic experience (nutrition, apparel, equipment, travel), and maintaining a safe environment (expenses due to COVID-19 protocols).
