CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – University of Hawai'i golfers Malia Ebersberger and Nicha Vorrasanpisut were among nearly 1,100 women's collegiate golfers listed as a All-American Scholar by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).
 
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 among the requirements.
 
Ebersberger, a sophomore from Palm Desert, Calif., competed in five tournaments in 2018-19, her first competitive season since joining the Rainbow Wahine in 2016. She averaged 78.6 strokes per round with her best finish at tie for 22^ndat the Rainbow Wahine Invitational.
 
In her freshman season, Vorrasanpisut also competed in five tournaments while averaging 79.8 strokes per round. The Chonburi, Thailand native had one Top 10 finish, a tie for eighth at the Ānuenue Spring Break Classic in Waikoloa, Hawai'i.
 
The UH duo were the first Rainbow Wahine recognized as an All-American Scholar since Nichole Cruz in 2016.
