HONOLULU--The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team (3-9, 2-2 Big West) return to Honolulu after a tough roadtrip to host its final homestand of the season. The Rainbow Wahine will take on Santa Clara on Thursday, March 28 at 4:00 p.m. to start things off. Hawai'i will then battle Cal Poly in a Big West Conference match on Saturday, March 30 at 11:00 a.m. UH will finish the week with its final non-conference match of the season against formal Western Athletic Conference rival, San Jose State on Sunday, March 31 at 2:00 p.m.
The Rainbow Wahine are looking to snap its eight-match losing streak to get back to winning ways.
Hawai'i's No. 1 singles player, 100th-ranked
Petra Melounova upset her second Top 35 ranked opponent this past week. Melounova knocked off California's 30th-ranked Julia Rosenqvist in straight sets, 7-6 (4), 6-3 to extend her win-streak to eight-straight matches while improving to 9-2 in dual matches this season. But Melounova then fell the following day to end her streak falling to No. 58 Caroline Lampl.

Michelle Pits has also been playing well, winning two of her last four matches to improve to 5-7 in dual matches this season. At No. 15 California, she fought her way back after dropping the second. Pits then held off Hana Mraz in the third set to win by a break for the three-set win, 6-2, 4-6, 7-5.
