LONG BEACH, Calif.—The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team heads back on the road for a three-match swing through California. The Rainbow Wahine will take on Long Beach State in a Big West Conference match on Thursday, March 21 followed by a pair of non-conference matches at No. 19 California (Saturday, March 23) and No. 4 Stanford (Sunday, March 24).
Hawai'i continues to be led by No. 100
Petra Melounova who rose 19 spots in the Intercollegiate Tennis Associaion (ITA) rankings this week. Melounova, UH's No. 1 singles player, is currently on a six-match winning streak and currently is 7-1 in dual matches. Last week, in UH's heartbreaking loss to Indiana, Melounova defeated Madison Appel in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4. In doubles with partner
Nikola Dolakova, the duo also won at No. 1 doubles over Appel and Jelly Bozovic, 6-3.

Roxanne Resma both notched wins. Pits knocked off Bozovic in a hard fourth three-set match, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, while Resma nearly blanked Michelle McKamey, 6-0, 6-1.
