HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i and New Mexico State have agreed to an extension for its football series, which now includes four upcoming games.
The schools originally announced a home-and-home series in 2020 (Sept. 5) and 2021 (Sept. 25). Two more games have been added – September 23, 2023 in Honolulu and August 24, 2024 in Las Cruces, N.M.
The teams last played in 2011 while both were members of the Western Athletic Conference. The teams played annually from 2005-11 with the Rainbow Warriors winning each time. UH leads the all-time series 8-0.
