Rainbow Wahine Place Fourth At Bryson Intersectional

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i women's sailing team took fourth at the Bryson Women's Intersectional held Feb. 16-17 in Northern California. Host Stanford captured the regatta with a total of 114 points.
 
The Cardinal dominated the field in their home waters, finishing 82 points ahead of runner-up Cal Poly.  UH totaled 272 points over the weekend in cold and windy conditions in the Bay Area. A total of 36 combined races were completed in the A and B divisions.
 
Annika Garrett, Megan Lucas, and Megan Zamzow competed for the Rainbow Wahine in the A division, while Hayden Lahr, Paige Sullivan and Jemma Baird sailed for UH in the B division.
 
The Rainbow Wahine will return to the Bay Area, March 30-31, when they compete alongside the coed team in the St. Francis Invitational in San Francisco.
