HONOLULU – University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine beach volleyball coach
Jeff Hall announced that four high school seniors have signed commitments to join the SandBows next fall. Joining UH are Madi Bogle, Kaylee Glagau, Jaime Santer, and Zoe Smith.
"We're very pleased with this class," Hall said. "I believe this group will contribute immediately to our tradition of Big West Championships and NCAA appearances. They're all exceptional players, amazing citizens, and they each have lofty academic goals. This is one of our best groups to come in and we can't wait for their arrival on campus next fall."

Named to the 2019 Junior Volleyball Association Beach Watch List… a four-year indoor varsity standout for Eastlake High School…played for both Epic Volleyball (indoor) and 692 West (beach)…paired up with fellow signee Zoe Smith at numerous beach events.
Hall on Bogle: "Madi is an exceptional athlete and one of the most competitive junior beach volleyball players I've seen. She has a phenomenal arm, is incredibly fast and reads the game at a high level. She's going to help us as soon as she arrives on campus."

Won gold in the U16 division of the OVA Beach Ontario Championships along with Ava Mann…also captured the U18 crown at the 2018 Youth Beach Nationals title at Toronto's Ashbridges Bay….claimed sliver at the 2019 U18 National Championships despite competing as a U17 pair…also a bronze medalist at the USAV National Championship… played indoor club for Pakmen…teammate with fellow UH signee Jaime Santer…part of squad that won the 2018 Grand Prix U17 Championship.
Hall on Glagau: "I first saw Kaylee play four years ago on a trip to Canada. She wasn't the reason for my trip, but after watching her compete it was clear she was at the top of her class. At 6-2 she's a force at the net and has great ball control for a blocker."
Jaime Santer

Claimed third in the U19 National Division with partner Megan Montieth at the 2019 USA Volleyball Beach High Performance Championships at Santa Monica Beach… placed sixth with Montieth at the 2019 ISF Pan American Beach Volleyball Championships in Orlando, Fla…played indoor club for Pakmen…teammate with fellow UH signee Kaylee Glagau…part of squad that won the 2018 Grand Prix U17 Championship.
Hall on Santer: "Jaime is a 5-star athletes with the size to play at the net or as a defender. She was heavily recruited for soccer but chose to pursue beach volleyball. We're definitely fortunate benefactors of her change of heart."
Zoe Smith

Hometown: San Diego, Calif.
Named to the Junior Volleyball Association Beach Watch List for Class of 2020…earned AAA rating this past summer…named to the USA Volleyball High Performance A1 Team in 2016 and as an alternate in '17…selected to the USAV HP A2 team in 2018…qualified for the USAV, AAU and AVP First National Championships three straight years (2016-18)…paired up with fellow signee Madi Bogle at numerous events.
Hall on Smith: " Zoe continues the San Diego to Manoa tradition. She's a well-rounded defender that can side-out with the best of them. She's been playing beach at the highest level for a very long time and we're super excited about her future."
