The Hawai'i cross country team travels back to the Golden State for the final time this season to gear up for the Big West Championships in Riverside, Calif., at 5:30 a.m. HT on Saturday.
 
The Rainbow Wahine will compete at the UC Riverside Agricultural Operations Course for the second time this season after placing 15th overall at the UC Riverside Invitational. Sophia Lodigian led Hawai'i back in September with a time of 22 minutes 21.50 seconds.
 
The 'Bows are coming off a 23rd-place finish at the Bronco Invitational on Oct. 19 and eclipsed its team-best performance of the season in the 6k event. Hawai'i totaled an average of 22:36.52, shedding its previous team-high mark by nearly 24 seconds. Graduate student Shannon McClish led the 'Bows for the fourth time this season finishing at 77^th overall with a time of 21:53.5.
 
Hawai'i finished ninth overall at the Big West Championships in 2018. Junior Sienna Santiago led all Hawai'i runners at Carbon Canyon Regional Park in Brea, Calif.
