TULSA, Okla.—Three members of the University of Hawai'i women's tennis team—No. 33 Petra Melounova, Nikola Dolakova, and newcomer Bojana Markovic—will compete at the Saint Francis Health System/Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) All-America Tournament starting this week in Tulsa, Okla. The tournament runs from October 5-13, 2019 and is hosted by the University of Tulsa at the LaFortune Tennis Center and Michael D. Case Tennis Center. The other five members of the women's tennis team will begin the 2019-20 season hosting the UH Anuenue Invitational. 
 
Most recently, Melounova went 1-1 at the ITA Masters tournament held last week at Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif. Last season, Melounova became the Rainbow Wahine's first-ever All-American after advancing to the Round of 16 in last season's NCAA Singles Championship. She is the three-time Big West Player of the Year. Melounova qualified for the tournament's Main Draw and will start playing singles on Oct. 9.
 
Last year, Melounova and doubles partner Nikola Dolakova earned all-Big West First Team honors. The UH duo will start the tournament in the qualifying doubles round which begins on Monday, Oct. 7.
 
Joining the two returning seniors at the tournament is junior transfer Bojana Markovic. Markovic played her first two seasons at the University of Texas where she recorded a 20-14 career singles record. She will begin play in the qualifying singles round which starts on Oct. 7.
 
The draws for both singles and doubles are still to be announced.

The remaining members of the women's tennis team will be competing against HPU in the annual UH Anuenue Invitational which will run over two consecutive weekends. The tournament starts on Saturday, Oct. 5-Sunday, Oct. 6 and will conclude the following weekend, Friday, Oct. 11 and Saturday, Oct. 12. All matches in the Anuenue Invitational will be played at the UH Tennis Complex.
