LOS ANGELES, Calif.—For the second consecutive day, the University of Hawai'i men's and women's diving teams left a mark on the UCLA Bruin Diving Invitational at the Spieker Aquatics Center.Â

Johan Sandell climbed up the top of the leaderboard in the men's three-meter springboard dive as he finished in the top five at No. 5. Sandell accounted for a score of 648.80 across his six dives, averaging a score of 56.48. Freshman
Max Burman joined Sandell in the top-10 standings at No. 8 with a score of 600.65. Burman continues an impressive stretch over the last month where he has notched top-10 finishes.Â

The Rainbow Wahine did not have a diver crack in the top-18 position to qualify for the championship round of the women's platform. Sophomore
Victoria Moretti led the squad with a score of 183.35, finishing at No. 24 overall.Â

The Bruin Invite will conclude tomorrow with both the men's platform dive and women's one-meter dive.Â
