HONOLULU—The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team competed on the final day of the Hawai'i Intercollegiate Invitational against Louisville and Hawai'i Pacific at the UH Tennis Complex on Saturday.

 
After falling in all three of yesterday's doubles matches against Louisville, the 'Bows showed their mettle, and battled back today to take two-of-three against the Cardinals. Hawai'i's duo of Lucas Labrunie and Andre Ilagan doubled up on UofL's 43^rd-ranked team of Brandon Lancaster and George Hedley, 6-3, while UH's Asad Siyyid and Blaz Seric held off Louisville's Alex Westbrooks and Fabien Salle to win by a break, 6-4.
 
In singles, Hawai'i's Siyyid and Tristan Martin both won their singles matches. Siyyid played just one set and defeated Hawai'i Pacific's Guilherme DeMedeiros, 6-2. Martin came back to knock off Louisville's Hedley in a third set, super-tiebreaker, 6-7(5), 6-0, 1-0 (7).
 
The Rainbow Warriors next will head to Nevada to compete against New Mexico State, Weber State, UC Riverside and host school, UNLV over three days, Feb. 1-3. All matches will be played at the Frank and Vicki Fertitta Tennis Complex in Las Vegas, Nev.
