Men's Tennis To Compete In Pacific Invitational

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.—The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team (0-5, 0-0 Big West) heads to Albuquerque, N.M. this week to compete in the Pacific Invitational tournament. Hawai'i is one of eight teams competing for the title. UH will play two matches on Saturday, March 3 and a final match on Sunday, March 4 at the Linda Estes Tennis Facility and the McKinnon Family Tennis Center.
 
Also participating in this week's tournament are New Mexico (6-4, 0-0 Mountain West), Grand Canyon (5-3, 0-0 WAC), Lamar (1-4, 0-0 Southland Conf.), Wichita State (3-5, 0-0 American Ath. Conf), Pacific (2-8 0-0 West Coast Conf.), Brown (10-2, 0-0 Ivy League), San Francisco (2-6, 0-0 WCC).
 
UH rookie Tristan Martins leads the 'Bows with a 2-2 singles record, while Blaz Seric, Felix Albert, Lucas Labrunie and Aleksa Lazarevic all have recorded a win each.
 
In doubles, UH's No. 1 duo of Albert and Fabian Woehrl are the only duo to have been able to record a win and are 1-4 this season.
