Your 2018 Sofi Hawaii Bowl participant, the University of Hawai'i football team will be recognized during halftime and will be signing autographs for fans after the game on the court.  Free football posters for autographs will be available at the H-Zone store located at Gate B. Basketball fans are encouraged to take pictures at our FREE UH Holiday Photo Booth located on the Ewa side of the Stan Sheriff Center concourse. Game Notes
  • UH plays the second of seven straight home games when it hosts Mississippi Valley State.
  • This will be the fourth meeting between the teams and the second in the last four years. UH is 3-0 against the Delta Devils, including a 77-48 home win during the 2015-16 season.
  • UH is a perfect 21-0 against SWAC schools. 
  • The Rainbow Warriors are coming off an 82-75 win over UH Hilo on Dec. 8, while playing its first home game in nearly three weeks.
  • UH's win over UH Hilo was its closest game this year and the first not to be decided by double-digits.  
  • UH has had a different leading scorer in each of its last five games.
  • Following the Mississippi Valley State game, UH will host the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic, Dec. 22, 23 and 25.      
About Mississippi Valley State: The Delta Devils are 2-8 on the season...MVS has played seven of its 10 games on the road and will play at Louisiana Tech and at Santa Clara before heading out to Honolulu...the Devils were picked ninth in the SWAC preseason poll...senior forward Dante Scott leads the team at 14.7 ppg.
