The University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine cross country team is back on O'ahu for its final meet of the regular season at the Chaminade Invitational Saturday held at Kapiolani Park in Honolulu.
The Rainbow Wahine will send a four-runner squad comprising of junior Gio Casazza and freshmen A'Ja-Faith Greene,
Hope Stewart, and
Jeanalyn Wadsack-Myers.
In their last outing at the Bronco Invite, the Rainbow Wahine ran their fastest 6k meet since the 2016 season. UH averaged a time of 23:10.62, finishing eighth overall in the women's open division. Hawai'i also saw four new PRs, highlighted by sophomore

"We can use this as a positive building block as post-season approaches, nice to see the improvements and it will fuel our training the next few weeks," said head coach
Tim Boyce.
UH will compete in their third and final 5k meet of the season.
Following the Chaminade Invite, the Rainbow Wahine will be in postseason mode competing in the Big West Championships in Brea, Calif., Oct. 27 at the Carbon Canyon Regional Park.
Start time for the Chaminade Invitational is slotted at 7:45 a.m. HT.
