SAN DIEGO, Calif.—The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team is heading to San Diego, Calif. to compete in the 2018 Southwest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division I Regional Championships. The tournament will be held at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif. from October 18-22.
 
The singles and doubles champions from this regional event will earn an automatic berth to the 2018 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships which will be held at Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, Calif. later this fall.
 
Over 8,000 men's and women's student-athletes from NCAA Divisions I, II, III, NAIA, Junior and Community Colleges will be competing acros 85 ITA Regional Championships across the country.
