SACRAMENTO, Calif.—The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team fell in a non-conference match at Sacramento State, 7-0 on Wednesday afternoon at the Rio Del Oro Racquet Club in Sacramento, Calif. The Rainbow Warriors fell to 1-13 overall while Sacramento State evened their record at 10-10.
 
In doubles, the Hornets won on the No. 3 court with Hermont Legaspi and Dom Miller defeating Eric Kenneth and Spencer Travalino, 6-2.  Hawai'i battled on the No. 1 court, but fell just short by a break with SAC's Mikus Losbergs and Kasparas Zemaitelis holding off UH's Felix Albert and Marcel Chan, 6-4 to earn the doubles point.
 
Hawai'i's No. 4 singles player Chan dropped the first set but bounced back to level things at one set apiece before getting edged out in a third set by Louis Chabut in the super tie-breaker, 7-5, 2-6, 11-9. On the No. 2 court, Felix Albert won his first set against Miller, but dropped the second set and then just came up a just short in the super tie-breaker, 5-7, 6-2, 10-7.
 
The Rainbow Warriors will return home for 15 days before finishing the regular season on the road. Hawai'i will take on UC Irvine on Friday, April 21 and UC Riverside on Sunday, April 23.
