IRVINE, Calif.—The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team (1-13, 0-3 Big West) will play its final two regular season matches on the road this week at UC Irvine on Friday, April 21 (UC Irvine Tennis Stadium) and at UC Riverside on Sunday, April 23 (SRC Tennis Courts).
The Rainbow Warriors return to the hardcourts after a 16-day match hiatus. The 'Bows are looking to finish the season strong.
Igor Kolaric moved up the ladder and has played the last two matches on the No. 1 court at UC Davis and at Sacramento State a couple of weeks ago. Kolaric leads the 'Bows with a 3-10 dual match record in singles and a 5-10 doubles mark with four different partners—but the last nine with
Fabian Woehrl playing at No. 2.
Felix Albert comes into the last week of the regular season with a 2-11 dual match record, winning a match each on the No. 1 and No. 2 courts. At UC Davis, Albert captured the only UH win in the match, coming back after dropping the first set to the Aggies' James Wade in a three-set thriller, 2-6, 7-5, 10-6.
Marcel Chan is also 2-11 in dual singles matches and 4-5 in doubles. Most recently, Chan has partnered in the last eight matches with teammate
