The University of Hawai'i men's golf team heads to the ninth island of Las Vegas for the Jackrabbit Invitational, March 10-11 at the Siena Golf Club.
The 11-team field includes host South Dakota State, Creighton, CSU-Fullerton, Hawai'i, Long Beach State, North Dakota State, South Dakota, Southern Utah, UNLV, Utah State, and Weber State.
Participants will play a total of 54 holes – 36 on Friday and 18 on Saturday – at the 6,843-yard, par-72 course with a 7:30 a.m. PT shotgun start each day.
The Rainbow Warriors tied for third place at last year's event, which was held at Primm Valley Golf Club and was won by host SDSU. The Jackrabbit Invite is UH's third tournament of the spring season and first outside of the state of Hawai'i. The Warriors competed in the Amer Ari Invitational in Waikoloa, Hawai'i and the John A. Burns Intercollegiate in Lihu'e, Kaua'i last month.

Cameron Kaneko and
Sam Schwartz, and freshman
Desmond Mello.
Tokioka and Schwartz have competed in all six previous tournaments this season with scoring averages of 75.7 and 76.1, respectively. Tokioka leads the team with three rounds under par.
