HONOLULU—The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team (1-10, 0-1 Big West) dropped their match against Fresno State on Friday afternoon, 4-0 at the UH Tennis Complex.

Hawai'i was close to earning the doubles point. The Bulldogs took the first match on the No. 3 court with Youssef Hassan and Zdenek Derkas defeating
Eric Kenneth and
Spencer Travalino, 6-2. UH's No. 1 duo of
Felix Albert and
Marcel Chan then edged out FSU's Patrik Pech and Euan McIntosh in a tie-breaker, 7-6 (4) to even things at 1-1. But Fresno State's Xander Veys and Mantas Bugailiskis held off
Igor Kolaric and
Fabian Woehrl also in a tie-breaker by just two points, 7-6 (5).

The Bulldogs then won the first three singles matches for the sweep, but Kolaric was on the verge of winning his match on the No. 2 court against McIntosh, 6-4, 4-2 but it went unfinished, while both UH's No. 1 Albert and No. 4 Chan fell in their first set, but were leading in the second when Fresno recorded the win.

The Rainbow Warriors have one last home match against Cal Poly on Tuesday, March 28 at 10:00 am. It will be Senior Day for two players—
