SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i sailing team competed in the PCCSC men's and women's singlehanded championships, hosted by UC Santa Barbara, Oct. 7-8.
 
Jeremy Hitchcock (125 points) and Patrick Wilkinson (139) represented the UH men and finished 7th and 8th,  respectively in the 15-member field. Meanwhile, the lone representative for the Rainbow Wahine was Caitlin Schadt (139) who finished 10th in an 11-member field.
 
Both the coed and Rainbow Wahine teams will be back in Californian waters next weekend when they compete in the Stoney Burke Intersectional in San Francisco, Oct. 14-15.
