Sonest Furtado has scored seven goals this season, which ranks second in the Big West. Her 14 career goals are 10th in program history, one behind Tricia Nishikawa (1996-98) for ninth. The Rainbow Wahine bring a four-game scoring streak into the road trip, the team's longest of the season.
Cal State Fullerton enters the week with a 10-4-3 overall record and 7-1-1 mark in Big West play. Sarah Fajnor leads the Titans with 16 points off six goals and four assists. Morgan Bertsch has seen the majority of the minutes in goal for the Titans, bringing a 0.74 goals-against average and .794 save percentage with six solo shutouts into the week. Hawai'i is 2-10 all-time against Cal State Fullerton, and will look to snap a six-game skid in the series on Thursday.
UC Riverside is 6-10-2 overall and 3-3 in Big West play entering the week, and will host UC Davis on Oct. 26 before facing Hawai'i for Senior Day on Sunday. Quinley Queszada and Ashley Webb share the team lead with eight points off three goals and two assists each. Darielle O'Brien adds seven points with two goals and three assists. The Highlanders' 0.89 goals per game ranks 8th in the Big West. UH and UC Riverside have split seven previous meetings in the all-time series, 3-3-1, after Hawai'i picked up a 2-0 win at home last season.
The Rainbow Wahine head into the final week of the season with four points in the Big West standings and an outside chance at qualifying for the Big West Tournament. With six points up for grabs this week, UH has a best-case scenario of 10 points and a tie for fourth place in the final Big West standings. Also up for grabs for the 'Bows this week is the program's second consecutive season with a .500 or better overall record.
