HONOLULU—The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team continued play on Day 2 of the Rainbow Warrior Classic at the UH Tennis Complex on Tuesday afternoon.
 
LSU and Hawai'i played two rounds of doubles with Hawai'i winning three of its matches against LSU to start the day. Igor Kolaric and Chris Cajigan defeated the Tigers' Agie Moreno and Nikola Samardzic, 6-3 and the UH duo of Marcel Chan and Eric Kenneth ended the first round of doubles matches by knocking off Eric Samuellsson and Rafael Wagner, 6-3. Fabian Woerhl and Spencer Travalino began the second round with a 6-4 win over Agie Moreno and Nikola Samardzik, 6-4.
 
In singles, LSU swept the Rainbow Warriors, but three matches went to three sets. Travalino fell in a tough battle to Julian Saborio, 4-6, 6-2, 6-4. Both Kolaric and Albert both opened their matches with 6-1 wins in the first set, but then eventually fell in the match. Kolaric was defeated by Gabor Csonka, 1-6, 6-2, 6-2 and Albert was edged out in a third set tiebreaker, 1-6, 6-1, 7-6 (5).
 
The three-day tournament concludes on Wednesday with Duke playing LSU at 9:00 am. Hawai'i will take on Ole Miss at 3:00 pm.
