Skye Inakoshi recorded a hole in one during his second round of the ASU Thunderbird Invitational, Saturday at the Karsten Golf Course. The ace, the ninth of his career, occurred at the par-3, 209-yard No. 12 hole during a second round 75.
As a team, the Rainbow Warriors are in 13
th place with rounds of 294 and 296 for a 591 total. Iowa State leads the tournament at 550, one stroke clear of host ASU (551). San Diego State is third (553) followed by California and Iowa (554), UC Davis (559), Minnesota (570), San Diego (575), Cal Poly (582), Santa Clara (583), South Dakota State (589), UH (591), and Princeton (598).
ASU's Jon Rahm holds the individual lead at 12-under 130 after rounds of 66 and 64. Iowa State's Denzel Ieremia is two strokes back at 10-under 132 followed by California's K.K. Limbhasut at 9-under 133.
