HONOLULU — For the third straight home series, the University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team will host a top 2-ranked opponent as No. 2 BYU comes to the Stan Sheriff Center for a two-match Mountain Pacific Sports Federation series, Wednesday, March 2 and Friday, March 4. First serve is 7:00 p.m., for both matches.
 
After starting the season 9-1, the Rainbow Warriors (10-7, 5-7 MPSF) have hit a rough patch, dropping six of their last seven matches, including a pair against top-ranked Long Beach State last week. UH remains at No. 7 in the national rankings for the second straight week and is tied for seventh in the MPSF standings with CSUN at 5-7.
 
BYU (14-2, 10-2) enters the series having won its last 10 matches - all in straight sets, - including eight straight against MPSF opponents. The Cougars are third in the league standings, two wins behind LBSU and Stanford in the win column.
 
BYU swept the season series last year in Provo, Utah after the Warriors swept the series in Honoulu in 2014. UH also swept the season series at home in 2010. BYU leads the all-time series 36-19.

Tickets: Lower – Adult $14-16, Senior Citizen (ages 65+) $10, Student (4-HS) $5; Upper – Adult $14, Senior Citizen $10, Student $5; UH Manoa students receive admission with paid Athletic Fee for the 2016 Spring Semester.  Student ID will be scanned upon entry at Gate B. 

Promotions: Hawaii Army National Guard is the sponsor of Wednesday's "Military Appreciation Night" and will award great prizes throughout the contest. Active, DOD civilians, reservists, and retired members of the military will receive 50% off tickets to Wednesday and Friday's matches. Bank of Hawaii is the sponsor on Friday and will distribute 500 cube tote bags and award $350 in gift cards to the participants in the "Bankoh Puzzle Contest" during intermission. Fans can register to participate at the sports marketing table located at Gate A. Also, Bank of Hawaii will distribute rally towels to customers who bring their Bank of Hawaii ATM/debit card to the Bank of Hawaii table next to their brand new ATM inside the arena (while supplies last). UH Kids' Club members are invited onto the court for pre-game festivities.
