HONOLULU – The 52 Outrigger Resorts Rainbow Classic continues on Sunday, Nov. 13 when the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warrior basketball team takes on Texas State. Tipoff is set for 5:00 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center.
The 'Bows look to rebound following a disappointing 69-68 season-opening loss to SIU Edwardsville on Friday night. It marked the first time since 2008 that UH lost a season opener. UH got a game-high 21 points from senior transfer
Noah Allen, but fell victim to 19 turnovers and 3-of-19 shooting from behind the arc.
Sunday's game is a "Whiteout" as all fans are encouraged to wear UH-branded white attire. This will be the first meeting between the squads. SIU Edwardsville and Florida Atlantic will precede the UH game at 2:30 p.m.

Promotions: Outrigger Resorts is the tournament sponsor and will distribute 1,000 spirit flags. Also, Outrigger will award up to $2,000 during the popular "Shoot for Loot" halftime contest. Outrigger will award keiki and "tween" prize bags and will have temporary tattoos for keiki as well. Outrigger will distribute 400 special edition tournament posters after Sunday's game at the men's basketball team autograph session.
Sunday's game is a "White Out" and fans are asked to wear UH-branded green, white, and black attire at each respective game.
Coaches: Eran Ganot is in his second season at UH (28-7). Danny Kaspar is in his fourth season at Texas State (38-56) and 284-197 overall in 17 seasons on the Division I level.
