UH Sailors Compete At PCCSC Singlehanded Championships

LOS ANGELES – The University of Hawai'i sailing team competed in the PCCSC men's and women's singlehanded championships, hosted by USC, Oct. 21-23.
 
Michael Pacholski (71 points), Jeremy Hitchcock (77), and Michael Magnussen (87) represented the UH men and finished 7th, 8th, and 9th, respectively in the 10-member field. Meanwhile, the Rainbow Wahine also had three representatives as Cole Brauer (46), Caitlin Schadt (51), and Jazlyner Rojas (59) finished 5th, 7th, and 8th in an eight-member field.
 
The Rainbow Wahine will be back in action in next week for the PCCSC Fall Women's Dinghy Championships, while the coed team hits the water again, Nov. 12-13, for PCCSC Fall Coed Dinghy Championships.
