HONOLULU – For the second time in two weeks, the University of Hawai'i women's soccer team will head out on the road for a pair of non-conference games, traveling to the state of Nevada for matches at UNLV (Friday, Sept. 18) and Nevada (Sunday, Sept. 20). The 'Bows will play the Rebels at 7:00 p.m. PT (4:00 p.m. HT) and kick off against the Wolf Pack at 11:00 a.m. PT (8:00 a.m. HT).
UH (2-4-1) is coming off a hard-fought and much needed win over CSU Bakersfield, its second straight home victory.
Kellsie Gleason and
Dani Crawford both tallied goals to lift the 'Bows to a 2-1 win.
Six different Rainbow Wahine players have accounted for UH's six goals on the season, among them
Kama Pascua and
Tiana Fujimoto who each also have one assist.
Monk Berger has played every minute in goal for the 'Bows, posting one shutout and 27 saves on the season.
The Rainbow Wahine will be in search of its first road win as they play their final non-conference road matches before a home contest against BYU-Hawaii and the start of Big West Conference play.
