NAPA VALLEY, Calif.—The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team completed play in the 4
th Annual Silverado Collegiate Invitational on Sunday against Pacific.
Marcel Chan was the lone Rainbow Warrior to earn a victory over the Tigers at the Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa Valley, Calif.
In doubles, the UH duo of
Kai Wehnelt and
Felix Albert dropped their first match of the tournament, 8-5 to Pacific's Miguel Diaz and Sem Verbeek on the No. 1 court.
Chan picked up his first win of the tournament, with a straight-set victory over Pacific's Kumara Pardha-Adavelly, 6-2, 6-3. Rookie
Igor Kolaric gave the Tigers' Daniel Alameh a run for his money in the first set, but was unable to get things going in the second set as Alameh won in two, 7-5, 6-1.
