HONOLULU – The 2014-15 University of Hawai'i men's and women's swimming and diving programs were both recognized as College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Teams, announced Tuesday morning.
The honor distinguishes the top swimming and diving teams in the country with the best collective academic performances in the past semester. This past season, the CSCAA designated a record 406 collegiate programs as Scholar All-America Teams.
To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, the programs must have reached a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher in the Spring 2015 semester.
The Rainbow Wahine wrapped up an outstanding 2015 season after winning UH's first Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championship title across any sport or gender. Additionally, the Rainbow Warriors took third place at the championship meet.
