Mt. SAC Relays Live StatsWALNUT, Calif. – University of Hawai'i track and field athletes continued to impress during its road trip through southern California at the Bryan Clay Invitational and Mt. SAC Relays, Thursday.
One day after posting a seasonal-best discus throw at the CSULA Twilight Meet, senior
Alex Porlier Langlois won the University/Open Division of the shot put at the Mt. SAC Relays with a throw of 51-1¾ (15.59m). By virtue of the win, Porlier Langlois is invited to throw in the Invitational Section on Friday.
At Mt. SAC, junior
Tiziana Ruiz Dominguez cleared 12-10 (3.91m) to place fourth in the pole vault while
Robyn Brown ran a seasonal-best 1:02.98 in the 400-meter hurdles.
Senior
Louise Mulvey won her section of the 800-meters in a time of 2:13.73 at the Bryan Clay Invite. Although entering the race with the second slowest seed time among the 12 competitors, no one challenged her at any time during her last two laps.
Also at the Bryan Clay Invite, sophomore
Rachel Toliver jumped 40-1¼ (12.22m) in the triple jump, her second best mark all-time, and junior Natasha Brown cleared a personal best 11-10 (3.61m) in the pole vault.
The Rainbow Wahine will compete in the Beach Invitational , Saturday, at Cerritos College to close out the road trip.
