Swimming Live ResultsATLANTA, Ga. – The University of Hawai'i men's and women's diving team opened the Georgia Tech Fall Invitational on Thursday afternoon at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center.Â
The women's 1-meter and men's 3-meter dives were the two diving events to open the three-day invitational. Rainbow Wahine senior
Lauren Hall led the women on the 1-meter finishing third in the finals with a score of 297.05.
Aimee Harrison also made it through to the final round and landed in 10
th (275.40).

Monica Gavaris also competed for the Rainbow Wahine in the morning's preliminary round but did not advance to the finals after landing 21
st (243.85) of 58 divers.

Senior
Amund Gismervik led the 'Bows in the 3-meter, finishing in second-place with a score of 385.35 just behind Minnesota's Matt Bernard (407.15). Freshman
Johan Sandell also competed in the preliminary round but did not move on to the finals, finishing 17
th with a score of 302.30.

UH continues action at the Georgia Tech Fall Invitational tomorrow with the men's 1-meter and women's 3-meter events. Diving will wrap up on Saturday morning with the men's and women's platform dives.
Meanwhile, in San Diego, Calif. The UH swimming teams opened at the high-calibur A3 Performance Invitational this afternoon, hosted by UC San Diego. The Rainbow Wahine had a standout performance on the opening 200-Freestyle Relay event, with
Morgan Mark,
Erin McNulty,
Brooke Kniffin and
Franziska Weidner finishing in fourth place with a time of 1:33.59.Â
Sophomore
Kira Webster also led the Rainbow Wahine, finsihing third in the 500 freestyle finals with a time of 4:53.16. On the men's side in the same event,
Jonas Gutzat led the 'Bows in fifth with a time of 4:25.82 followed by
Kacy Johnson in seventh (4:28.08).Â
In the 200 IM, Weidner led with women finishing runner-up to UCLA with a time of 1:59.72, while freshman Micah Ornellas finished with a team-high time of 1:48.78 for the men, good enough for fifth place .
UH continues the A3 Invite through the weekend and will compete in seven events on Friday afternoon.Â
