Senior Alex Porlier Langlois posted her second PR in as many days. On Saturday, she heaved 50-7.25 (15.42m) in the shot put, easily out-distancing her previous best of 45-10.5 (13.98m), which she set in 2012. The mark was good for third overall and second-best among collegians. On Friday, Porlier Langlois set a PR in the weight throw.
Freshman Montana Martinez ran a 5:07.65 mile which placed her in the school's Top 10 list at No. 8. Martinez did so following a 5:20 split in the distance medley relay the previous night, which UH finished in 12:38.61, just missing out on a Top 10 all-time mark.
Also posting PRs on Saturday were Desiree Winters in the 60-meters (8.06), Felicianna Vasquez in the 60-meter hurdles (9.50), and both Kayla Phillips (36-6.75/11.14m) and Rachel Toliver (39-7.25/12.07m) in the triple jump.
During the two-day competition, nearly all of UH's 17-member squad achieved either a UH all-time Top 10 performance or personal best mark - six athletes with Top 10 performances while 12 PRs were set.
