LAHAINA, Mau'i - The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team completed the final day of the Rainbow Wahine Spring Invitational on Saturday at the Royal Lahaina Tennis Ranch.

In doubles, No. 7 California dominated sweeping all of their matches. Hawai`i's Daisy Green and Klara Pribylova paired up together against California's Cecilia Estlander and Lyann Hoang, with the Golden Bears prevailing, 6-0. The combo of Sarah Gealer and Cindy Nguyen fell to Maegan Manasse and Denise Starr, 6-0 while Rebecca Faltusz and Martina Kostalova were defeated by Cal's Karla Popovic and Stephanie Lin, 7-5.

In singles action, UH's Nguyen was defeated by No. 15 Manasse 6-3, 6-3, while Viktoria Malova fought hard, but fell to Cal's No. 78 Klara Fabikova, 7-5, 6-2. UH's Rebecca Faltusz battled valiently against Golden Bears, Stephanie Lin, but could not pull through dropping the match, 6-1, 7-6(8). 

The `Bows now return home where they have a busy week ahead against top-ranked competition. UH will face No. 29 Kentucky on Tuesday, January 13 at 3:00 p.m. The 'Bows will then take on No. 25 Ole Miss on Friday, January 16 and on Sunday January 18 vs. No. 43 Washington.
