Final Discus Results  |  Complete Day 2 Results

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – University of Hawai'i track and field athlete Alex Porlier Langlois completed her first appearance at the NCAA West Preliminary Round after placing 46^th in the discus event Friday at Arkansas' John McDonnell Field.
 
Much like Thursday's shot put competition, the junior from St-Cesaire, Quebec, Canada fouled on her first two discus attempts before recording a throw of 142-1 (43.32m) on her final attempt.  
 
Texas A&M's Shelbi Vaughan ran away from the field to win the event with a throw of 194-0 (59.14m)
 
Porlier Langlois finished 36^th in the shot put on Thursday.  The NCAA West Prelims concludes UH's track and field season.
