Stefan Jovanovic and
Roderick Bobbitt both notched doubles to help the University of Hawai'i men's basketball team to its biggest ever win over Chaminade, a 93-64 blowout on Friday night at the Neal Blaisdell Center.

Bobbitt's 15 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists nearly got him his second triple-double of the season for the 'Bows (8-3) who scored a season-high in points. Jovanovic's 12 points and 13 rebounds gave him his first career double-double.
Aaron Valdes had 19 points in the first half and finished with 23 points and nine rebounds.

Kevin Hu led Chaminade with 12 points and James Harper added a team-high seven rebounds.

It was a struggle for the 'Bows in the early going as Chaminade went on a 7-2 run to take a 17-12 lead shortly after the first media timeout. Kuany Kuany's three-pointer gave the Swords a 22-18 lead, but the game belonged to the 'Bows from that point on. UH unloaded a 30-4 run on the 'Swords to break the game wide open, and the score was never close from there.

Leading by 21 points at the break, the 'Bows returned to the court and put the 'Swords away with an 8-2 burst to start the period.

Mike Thomas had 11 points and six rebounds and
Isaac Fleming and
Garrett Nevels added 13 and 11 points, respectively.

Hawai'i next hosts Nebraska on Monday, Dec. 22 in the opening round of the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic. Tip off is set for 8:00 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center.
