HONOLULU—The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team finished day two of the Weinman Foundation Invitational by putting on a stellar performance in both singles and doubles on Saturday afternoon at the UH Tennis Complex.

In doubles, UH's Sarah Gealer and Cindy Nguyen combined to excite the crowd with their dominating performance defeating CSUN's Mickey Hsu and Kristen Poei, 8-2. The UH duo of Rebecca Faltusz and Martina Kostalova battled against CSUN's Criss Rodriguez and Jessica Warren, but just fell short, 8-5.

The 'Bows then rolled to capture five straight wins in singles. Kostalova overwhelmed CSUN's Mickey Hsu, 6-1, 6-1, while Nguyen knocked off Matador Criss Rodriguez 6-3, 6-3. Daisy Green was the third Rainbow Wahine to win in straight sets. She defeated another CSUN opponent, Corinne Schnyder, 6-4, 6-3. UH's Faltusz had another tough win, today against CSUN's Kristen Poei. Faltusz was up in the third set 5-3 (40-40), before Poei had to retire. UH's Gealer pulled off a win with a strong comeback win over CSUN's Mari Taslagyan. Gealer dropped the first set 4-6, but bounced back with a strong second and third set performance by winning it 6-4, 6-0. 

The Weinman Foundation Invitational will conclude on Sunday with matches beginning at 1:00 p.m. All matches will be played at the UH Tennis Complex.
