Photo GalleryHONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine volleyball team recovered from a first-set hiccup to put away UC Riverside in four sets on Friday night at the Stan Sheriff Center. Set scores were 19-25, 25-19, 25-14, 25-15.

White Out at the Stan Sheriff Center
Nikki Taylor had 15 kills to lead the 'Bows who will need a win in tomorrow's season finale to all but secure an NCAA at-large berth.
Kalei Greeley had a double-double with 12 kills and 10 digs and
Sarah Mendoza added a team-high 12 digs.
Bri Holmes led the Highlanders (2-26, 0-16 BWC) and the match with 18 kills and Maddie Hubbell had a match-high 18 digs.
The 'Bows got off to a rocky start then watched UC Riverside close set one on a 7-1 run to win going away. Greeley tied the set at 18-18 off a kill but Meg Graham (7 kills, 4 digs) and Holmes put down a pair of kills to spark the Highlander run.
Olivia Magill (8 kills) and
Tai Manu-Olevao (11 kills, 7 digs) started to gather steam in the second set, but it was still a dogfight for the 'Bows. UH took a 10-8 lead off a Manu-Olevao ace but UCR came back to tie the set at 11-11. It was the 'Bows turn to make a late run though. A pair of Magill kills gave UH a 22-15 lead and Taylor had three straight kills to cap a 9-4 run to close the set.
The Rainbow Wahine found their stride in sets three and four and closed out the match.
Saturday's match against UC Davis will be Senior Night for
Kalei Adolpho and
Sarah Mendoza.
Ginger Long, who will be departing the program after four seasons, will also be recognized.
