HONOLULU - The University of Hawai'i women's soccer team closes the regular season this week with a pair of Big West Conference matches at UC Irvine on Oct. 30 (7:00 p.m. PT, 4:00 p.m. HT) and CSUN on Nov. 2 (2:00 p.m. PT, 11:00 a.m. HT).
The 'Bows (6-10, 1-5 Big West) lost last week on senior night to UC Davis which mathematically eliminated them from postseason contention. UH sits in ninth place as only the top four teams qualify for the Big West Tournament.
UH is 3-3 on the mainland so far this season and is 7-6-1 in their last 14 road matches dating back to last year.
Despite their ninth place in the standings, the 'Bows rank fourth in the league in goals (27) but have managed to put the ball in the back of the net only five times in their six Big West matches.
Sophomore midfielder
Storm Kenui continues to lead the 'Bows with six goals, with striker
Sonest Furtado notching a team-high three assists.
UH enters the weekend winless in four all-time matches against UC Irvine (0-4-1) and holds a 3-7 overall record against CSUN.
