HONOLULU – Individual tickets for the 2014 University of Hawai'i baseball season, which is the 30th year in Les Murakami Stadium, are now on sale.
Tickets are $12 in the lower and mid-level levels. Upper-level adult tickets are $10, upper-level senior citizens (ages 65 and older) tickets are $6 and student (ages 4-high school) tickets are $4. UH Manoa students receive free admission with a valid UH Manoa identification card. For the first time ever, fans purchasing tickets online will be able to select their own seats.
As part of the celebration of three decades of UH baseball in Les Murakami Stadium, the Athletics Department will offer $3 upper-level tickets (maximum of eight per game) in special sections for three games of the team's series against Albany. The price will apply to adults, senior citizens, and youth.
The discount will not be available on game days, so advance purchases are required by visiting HawaiiAthletics.com, calling 944-BOWS, or stopping by the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office (Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.). The supply of promotional tickets is limited and other restrictions may apply.
A special on-field ceremony will be held before the game on Friday, Feb. 21, to celebrate the baseball program's 30th season in Les Murakami Stadium, so fans are encouraged to arrive early. Game time is 6:35 pm.
UH is anticipating large crowds for the season-opening series against Oregon (Feb. 14-17), so fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance.
UH will again feature one of the toughest schedules in the nation as the 'Bows enter their second season in the formidable Big West Conference. The Rainbow Warriors play 36 games in the friendly confines of Les Murakami Stadium, where they ranked 13th nationally in attendance last season.
UH will once again host autograph sessions on the field following Friday contests.
