Track & Field Concludes Road Trip At Beach Invite

Final Results

NORWALK, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i women's track and field team concluded its road swing through southern California with the Beach Invitational, Saturday, at Cerritos College.
 
Among the highlights included Samantha Balentine winning the high jump with a leap of 5-10.5 (1.79m). In addition, three runners sets personal bests in the 400-meter hurdles – Morgan Struble (1:02.89), Samantha Esperanza (1:03.90), and Daphne Cobbs (1:09.56).
 
Most of the Rainbow Wahine were in action on Saturday. The team began the road trip on Thursday with the CSULA Invitational but that meet was cancelled due to a campus closure. The team competed in the Mt. SAC Relays and Bryan Clay Invitational over the past two days.
 
UH returns to Honolulu to host the final Sunrise Meet of the season. The Sunrise Meet #5 will take place Saturday, April 27 at the Clarence T.C. Ching Field.
