SAN FRANCISCO – The University of Hawai'i competed in the St. Francis Intersectional, March 30-31, with a pair of teams finishing in the top 16. Host Stanford captured the regatta, while Washington topped the women's division.
A total of 27 teams entered the two-day regatta with 18 combined races the A and B divisions. The Rainbows entered both a coed and women's squad. The women's team finished 15th overall—and runner-up to Washington in the women's division with 277 points. Meanwhile, the coed squad finished right behind the Rainbow Wahine in 16th place with 292 points.
Coming up next for the coed team is the PCCSC Team and Coed Dinghy Championships in San Diego, Calif, next weekend. The Rainbow Wahine next compete in the PCCSC Women's Championship, April 20-21, in Santa Barbara, Calif.
