HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Warrior tennis team will play its home finale this week, hosting UC Riverside on Saturday, Mar. 30 (11:00 a.m.) at the UH Tennis Complex. The Warriors enter the match with a 4-9 overall record and 1-1 in Big West Conference play.
Senior
Dmytro Kovalyov will be playing in his final home match as UH concludes the regular season with a pair of April west coast road trips. Kovalyov is in his fourth season at UH and has amassed 21 total singles wins. This season he has played all but three matches at either the No. 1 or No. 2 positions. Kovalyov was also the recipient of UH's Big West Male Scholar Athlete of the Year.
Nils Schuhmann leads the Warriors with an overall 7-5 singles record, mainly at the No. 6 position. The pair of
David Schuster and
Jared Spiker have a team-best 5-4 record in doubles.
