LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The University of Hawai'i baseball team will have to wait another day to get its first win after losing 6-5 on a walk-off base hit to Bradley on day two of the UNLV Rebel Classic. The Rainbows (0-10) lost despite posting a season-high 13 hits and equaling a season-best five runs.

After the 'Bows had rallied with three eighth-inning runs to tie the game, Bradley (3-6) responded when Mike Tauchman delivered a two-out RBI base hit to give the Braves  the walk-off win. UH reliever Matt Cooper (0-1) surrendered a double to Leffler who, after advancing to third on a balk, came home on Tauchman's single. Leffler led Bradley batting 3-3 and Bradey Wilkin had one hit, one run, and two RBI.

Kaeo Aliviado posted a season-high three hits (3-5) to lead Hawai'i. Alan Baldwin and Adam Hurley both batted 2-5 with Baldwin adding an RBI and Hurley a run scored.

UH starter Connor Little worked seven complete innings but did not factor in the decision. He allowed five runs on eight hits and posted six strikeouts. Bradley used four pitchers on the afternoon with Brent Strong working the final one and two-thirds innings for the win.

The 'Bows opened the scoring with two runs in the third inning. UH's first four batters singled, with Baldwin and Pi'ikea Kitamura's (1 H, 1 RBI) base hits both driving in runs.

Little cruised through the first four innings before back-to-back doubles by Paul Solka (1 H, 1 R) and Derek Sprout (1 H, 1 R, 1 RBI) cut the lead to 2-1. Bradley then took the lead after a Mike Tauchman (1 H, 2 RBI) double drove home a pair of runs to give Bradley its first lead of the afternoon.

With the Rainbow offense dormant, the Braves seemingly put the game away in the seventh inning when Wilkin belted a two-run homer over the right field wall to push the lead to 5-2. But UH came to life in the top of the eighth as Trevor Podratz, pinch hitting for Tyler Young (1-3), sliced a Patrick Flanagan pitch down the right field line to score Marc Flores and Austin Wobrock to tie the game. The 'Bows would never regain the lead though and lost on Wilkin's walk-off hit.

The 10 consecutive losses to start the season marks the longest losing streak since the team joined the NCAA in 1971.

The Rainbows are back in action Saturday as they face Loyola Marymount for a second time in the tournament. First pitch is set for 2:05 p.m. PT (12:05 p.m. HT).
