CORVALLIS, Ore.—The University of Hawai'i women's basketball team (5-4, 0-0 Big West) fell at Oregon State, 76-64. Kamilah Jackson recorded her 50th career and seventh-straight double-double with game-highs of 22 points and 11 rebounds, but it was not enough to upend the Beavers in Corvallis. Fellow senior Sydney Haydel added 11 points and a season-high three assists on Friday night at Gill Coliseium.

Jackson moved to No. 4 on UH's career scoring leaders list. She passed former UH standout Lynette Liu's 1,363 points scored from 1982-85. Jackson now has 1,365 career points. The senior forward was 9-of-17 from the floor—including 2-of-2 from beyond the 3-point arch to tie her career-high in made treys. She also tied her career-high with two blocked shots in the game.

Haydel was 4-for-11 with a trey and two made free throws. She had a season-high three assists with two steals while Destiny King continued her solid play, pulling down a career-high nine rebounds with eight points, an assist, a steal and a blocked shot.

It was a tale of two halves. In the first half, the 'Bows battled toe-to-toe with Oregon State (6-2, 0-0 Pac-12). Hawai'i went on a 10-to-2 run starting at the 13:18 mark to build a seven point lead at 21-14. But OSU responded with an 8-to-0 run of their own to retake the lead at 24-23 with 6:36 left in the half. Both teams traded baskets as the lead went back-and-forth—the first half alone had nine lead changes and five ties. Haydel drained a 3-pointer with 33-seconds left to cut their deficit to just one point, but Oregon State's Sydney Wiese answered right back with a trey with eight seconds left on the clock to give the Beavers a 36-32 lead going into the half.

The second half started with Jackson driving to the basket for a layup and a foul. She made the ensuing free throw to once again cut OSU's lead to one point, 36-35, but unfortunately, that would be as close as UH would get for the rest of the game. Oregon State later went on an 11-to-0 run while holding the 'Bows scoreless for over six minutes to take a 15-point lead from which UH never quite recovered from.

Hawai'i was out-rebounded for just the third time this season, 46-to-36. The Rainbow Wahine committed a season-low 11 turnovers. But Oregon State efficiently turned those into 17 points while allowing UH to score 13 points off of OSU's 18 turnovers. The Beavers led in second chance points, 15-to-11, but UH out-powered OSU in the paint, 32-to-24. Hawai'i is now 1-2 against Pac-12 teams this season.

Oregon State had a trio of players score in double-figures, led by Jamie Weisner's 19 points while Sydney Wiese had 17 points and was perfect 5-of-5 from 3-point land. Deven Hunter had 12 points.

Hawai'i remains on the road, heading down to Stockton, Calif. to face former Big West foe, Pacific (5-3, 0-0 West Coast) on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 1:00 p.m. (PST).
