MALIBU, Calif.- The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team will open play this week at the USTA/Intercollegiate Tennis Association Southwest Regional Championships. The event runs from October 18-22 at the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center in Malibu, Calif.

Eight players will be representing UH at the tournament.

Earlier this season Chas Okamoto, David Schuster, and Danilo Casanova each earned third round finishes, while Nils Schuhmann had his run end in the second round in the pre-qualies of the ITA-All American Singles Championships.
