Women's Hoops Alumnae Game Set for Sunday

HONOLULU—The University of Hawai'i women's basketball team will be holding its annual alumnae game on Sunday, Jan. 13 at 2:30 p.m. The current Rainbow Wahine will battle Long Beach State immediately following at 5:00 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center.
 
Former Rainbow Wahine players—including Brittany Aiwohi, Nani Cockett, Kyla Evers, Michelle Gabriel, Keisha Kanekoa, Amber Lee, Trisha Nishimoto, Ki'i Spencer Vasconcellos, Megan Tinnin, Shelley Fey, and Jill Nunokawa—are all tentatively scheduled play or to be in attendance for the alumnae game.

During halftime of the UH game against the 49ers, all of the participating alumnae will be recognized as the program celebrates 39 years of Rainbow Wahine basketball.

When: Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013 at 2:30 pm (before Hawai'i vs. Long Beach State at 5:00 pm)
Where: Stan Sheriff Center (10,300) - Honolulu, O'ahu
Ticket information: General admission-adult: $7; General Admission-Senior Citizen: $5; Students (ages 4-high school): $3; UH Manoa Students receive admission to regular season home games by presenting a valid UH I.D.
