Santa Barbara, Calif. – The University of Hawai`i men's tennis team overcame a 2-0 deficit to oust Nevada, 4-3, in its Western Athletic Conference opener at the Recreational Center Courts. The Rainbow Warriors (2-6, 1-0 WAC) rallied with four straight singles wins to defeat the Wolf Pack, who fall to 4-7 and 0-2 in conference.

Jonathan Brooklyn and
Dmytro Kovalyov took down Wessim Derbel and Fernando Sunago, 8-5.
Nevada grabbed a 2-0 lead after winning No. 1 singles, but the Rainbow Warriors started to channel their inner confidence.
Jared Spiker led the attack defeating Quentin Mege, 6-3, 6-4.
Carter Lam regained his composure to win the third set and tie the match at 2-2 against Jordan Rozenfield, 6-0, 3-6, 6-3. After Brooklyn defeated Victor Ouvrard in straight sets, 6-3, 1-6, 6-3, it was up to Kovalyov to grab the deciding point. Dropping the first set, Kovalyov rallied back to win the second and third sets and defeat Moez Chargui, 5-7, 7-5, 6-4.
The 'Bows continue their road trip and next face Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles, Calif. on Wednesday, Mar. 14 at 1:30 p.m. PT.
