Game Notes
The University of Hawai'i Warrior football team will look to end its four-game losing streak when it travels to Colorado State for a Mountain West contest, Saturday, Oct. 27 at Hughes Stadium in Fort Collins, Colo. Kick-off is 5:00 p.m. MT (1:00 p.m. HT).
The Warriors (1-5, 0-3 MW) are coming off their second bye week of the season. UH had a bye following its season-opening loss to USC and subsequently defeated Lamar the week after. Since then, Hawai'i has lost four straight including three Mountain West games. UH dropped a 35-23 decision to New Mexico two weeks ago in Honolulu.
In contrast, the Rams (1-6, 0-3) have lost their last six games after opening the season with a win over arch-rival Colorado. CSU is also coming off a bye week after dropping its last three straight league games, including a 38-14 loss at San Diego State in its last outing.
The game features one of the nation's lowest scoring teams against a team that is surrendering one of the highest in the Football Bowl Subdivision. The Rams are averaging 15.7 points per game and their highest output was 22 points against Colorado. On the flip side, the Warriors are allowing 42.3 points per game, including 52.0 ppg in conference play.
In three road losses this season, UH is allowing 49.3 ppg, while CSU is averaging 11.0 ppg in its three home games (all losses) while being held to only seven points twice (North Dakota State and Fresno State).
