Pole Vault Summit Results

HONOLULU - Results from Saturday's Sunset Opener at the Clarence T.C. Ching Field. The competition was the first of five meets in the Sunset Series that the University of Hawai'i women's track and field team will host this season.
 
In addition, UH pole vaulters Robyn Morioka and Cecilia Durocher competed in the 22^nd Annual National Pole Vault Summit in Reno, Nev., on Saturday. In their heat, Morioka tied for the top mark but finished second after clearing 11-11.75 (3.65m) while Durocher placed sixth with a mark of 11-1.75 (3.40m).
 
Other Sunset Series meets include Dr. Donnis Thompson Memorial (Feb. 4), Terry Albritton Memorial (Feb. 18), Sunset Meet #4 (April 14), and Sunset Meet #5 (April 28).
